The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday directed the traffic police and transport authorities of the city to take action against smoke-emitting vehicles.
The directive came from a division bench, headed by Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi, at a hearing of a petition seeking action against smoke-emitting vehicles and violators of traffic rules. The petitioner, advocate Abid Hussain, told the bench that a large number of vehicles were plying on roads without any fitness certificate.
