Selangor government silence not golden, says anti-highway group

In a statement, the group said that it had been more than a week since the SNTS committee attended a meeting with Selangor state exco for Infrastructure Zaidy Abdul Talib to address residents’ concerns about the highway.

The group said that there had been no further correspondence with the Selangor government, official or otherwise, since the meeting.

Selangor government must look into concerns over SUKE highway project, they say

AN Anti-highway pressure group will consider taking legal action against the Selangor government if their concerns and demands regarding the construction of the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Expressway (SUKE) are not met.

The Say No To SUKE (SNTS) group said it might have to resort to legal action as a last resort to get the project scrapped.

SNTS protem committee chairman Muhammad Agos Abul Hasan Ashari said they were also disappointed over Selangor Mentri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali’s comments regarding the approval of the highway.

SNTS gets letter of support from Ampang MP

The Say No to SUKE (SNTS) group has received a letter of support from Ampang Member of Parliament YB Zuraida Kamaruddin to obtain all the relevant documents pertaining to the Sungai Besi Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) project from concessionaire Prolintas.

The letter was provided in response to a memorandum from SNTS to the Selangor government.
